The Caped Crusader is a 2014 Batman film based on the DC Comics character Batman and is part of The Caped Crusader Trilogy. It takes place before the Man of Steel 2 film, as an origin backstory for Batman. The film is directed and created by Cartoon44 and stars Scott Adkins as Batman, Bryan Cranston as James Gordon, Haley Ramm as Barbara Gordon, Charlie Hunnam as Joe Chill and Michael Madsen as Harvey Bullock. The Caped Crusader will be released December 2013.
The movie is currently in development with casting and producing the soundtrack.
A sequel was announced for the movie releasing in October 2014 only a month after The Caped Crusader's announcement.
